Happy New Year everybody! 2008 is going be like Tony The Tiger… Grrrrrrrrreat!

Yo ho ho!

Thursday, December 27th, 2007

We hope everyone has had a wonderful past couple of days and weeks celebrating the holidays with loved ones and family. We spent Christmas Day with Grandma and Grandpa. Here are a few photos of our little one enjoying her new sled, and then pondering how in the heck she is going to use it if there is no snow!

Merry Christmas!

Tuesday, December 25th, 2007

We want to wish everyone a very merry Christmas. We’re all wrapped up (pun intended;) in the holiday season at the moment, but we promise more news to come soon.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Thursday, November 22nd, 2007

We hope everyone had a happy and healthy Thanksgiving! If you’re like us, you stuffed yourselves silly and were still able to remember all the things you are thankful for before slipping into a turkey-induced coma.

Also, don’t bother waking up at the butt-crack of dawn and dealing with all the hassles of “Black Friday” shopping at the stores! Sleep in and shop online at home in the comfort of your pajamas (hint hint, prplnrpl.com) and then pat yourself on the back for all of the free time you saved by not waiting in line. (That’s something else to be thankful for.)

Enjoy the holiday… and the leftovers!

PS- The pie was delicious! (and so was the pumpkin pie, and apple pie, and cherry pie…)

MANNA Pie

No Kitty! That’s my caramel-pecan-cheesecake pie!

Thursday, November 15th, 2007

Thanksgiving is right around the corner! And while we are dreaming of turkey and stuffing and cranberries and sweet potatoes and… drooling… we need to remember those who are less fortunate.

For those of you in the Philly area, MANNA’s Pie In The Sky makes it too easy to help those in need. Just by purchasing a pie, you can help nourish persons with life-threatening illnesses, and satisfy your sweet-tooth. We bought the Strike It Rich Pie, of course;)

Bob Cotten`s original recipe, baked by Annie Pie`s Bakery, speaks for itself; caramel and pecans on a rich, creamy cheesecake, drizzled with melted chocolate. Eureka!

For more information about MANNA and their yummy pies, visit their web site.
